Thought I’d post the latest updates from Ansarnet’s thread on Nidal Hasan with my own weekend commentary.
“Ayubi,” who now uses the avatar of that Jundullah leader that I mocked below (the “fugghhttettabboooutttiit” guy) said on 11/20:
If he is watching us then i want to say some thing for him, We are comming, & we are near to your neck, so bewared..

So, Ayubi is saying that he’s close to my neck, which I assume he doesn’t mean in a romantic way. Thanks for the heads up, Ayubi, I will ‘bewared.” I do appreciate the poem that he wrote me in Urdu. However, since I don’t speak Urdu, he asks “Moak” to translate. ”Moak” heeds the request and obediently translates it for me:
“These veterans,these strange slaves of yours O Allah, to whom you’ve given the taste of valour…… rivers and deserts split in two from their strikes… and mountains turns to dust from their fear …”
Oh my… sounds dark, Ayubi. ”Al-Kahf” (a sister) then offers her nonsensical commentary on this ‘post’-modern back-and-forth:
And again that depreciated traffic warden will quote you in a “mysterious” way, while he can just give the link to the herd of trolls that like to read and believes everything he writes.
Heh, I’ve never been called a “depreciated traffic warden” but hey, I may use that as my new byline. And Al-Kahf, if I really did have a “herd of trolls’ who read and believed everything I wrote, this war on al-Qaida and its herd of teeming orcs would be a hell of a lot shorter.
Finally, “Moak” notes:

Moak, nobody gives me bonuses for looking at your postings. In fact, the only thing I get from reading Ansarnet postings is a headache.
